Preparation
What you need before installation
Install the eSIM before your trip over Wi-Fi. You can activate it at your destination.
Stable internet connection
Wi-Fi or mobile data is required to download the eSIM profile.
No carrier lock
Your smartphone must support eSIM and must not have a carrier lock.
Important: Do not delete the QR code or remove the eSIM profile after installation. Many eSIMs can only be installed once.

Menu names may vary slightly by model and software version.
Step 1
Settings → Cellular
Open Settings und tippe auf Cellular.
Step 2
Add eSIM
Tap Add eSIM oder bei älteren iPhones auf Add cellular plan.
Step 3
Scan QR code
Select QR-Code verwenden und scanne den Code aus deiner Bestell-E-Mail.
Step 4
Name the eSIM
Der Name wird häufig automatisch vergeben und kann zum Beispiel Carrier, Travel, Play, Secondary oder eSIM lauten. Du kannst ihn anschließend freiwillig in Travel eSIM umbenennen.
Step 5
Select for mobile data
Select the neu hinzugefügte eSIM für mobile Daten. Achte auf den Namen, der beim Hinzufügen angezeigt wurde – zum Beispiel Carrier, Travel, Play oder eSIM.
Step 6
Enable data roaming
Open neu hinzugefügte eSIM und aktiviere Data roaming. Bei deiner normalen SIM sollte es ausgeschaltet bleiben.

Open Settings und tippe auf Connections oder Network & Internet.
Step 2
Open SIM manager
Open SIM manager, SIMs oder Mobile network.
Step 3
Add eSIM
Tap Add eSIM, Add SIM oder Download SIM.
Step 4
Scan QR code
Scanne den QR-Code aus deiner LivaGoo E-Mail und bestätige das Herunterladen.
Step 5
Mobile Daten festlegen
Select the neu hinzugefügte eSIM as the preferred SIM for mobile data. The displayed name may vary by provider and device.
Step 6
Enable data roaming
Enable data roaming only for the neu hinzugefügte eSIM. Bei deiner normalen SIM bleibt es aus.
Important about the displayed eSIM name: Die eSIM heißt im Smartphone meistens nicht „LivaGoo“. Je nach Gerät, Netzbetreiber und Tarif kann sie zum Beispiel als Carrier, Travel, Play, Secondary, Business oder einfach eSIM erscheinen. Merke dir deshalb beim Hinzufügen den Namen der neuen Leitung. Entscheidend ist, dass du die neu installierte eSIM für mobile Daten auswählst.
Notice about possible mobile charges: Make sure mobile data uses only the newly installed travel eSIM and data roaming remains disabled on your regular SIM. To the extent permitted by law, LivaGoo is not liable for charges from your own mobile provider caused by an incorrect selection, an active primary SIM or incorrect device settings. For maximum protection, we recommend removing your physical SIM card during the trip or fully disabling the regular SIM in the device. On dual-SIM devices, automatic mobile-data switching should also be disabled.
After installation
How to get online at your destination
Turn on the new travel eSIM
Turn on the newly added line shortly before departure or after arrival. It may be named Carrier, Travel, Play or eSIM.
Select mobile data
Make sure mobile data is actually using the newly added travel eSIM.
Enable data roaming
Data roaming must be enabled on the travel eSIM or it may not connect.
Reconnect
If there is no internet, toggle airplane mode or restart the device.

Schnelle Lösungen
Der QR-Code wird nicht erkannt
Erhöhe die Bildschirmhelligkeit des zweiten Geräts, halte die Kamera ruhig und prüfe, ob der Code vollständig sichtbar ist. Alternativ kannst du die Installationsdaten manuell eingeben.
Die eSIM ist installiert, aber Internet funktioniert nicht
Select the newly added eSIM for mobile data, enable data roaming on it and toggle airplane mode for about ten seconds. The eSIM may be named Carrier, Travel, Play, Secondary or similar.
Darf ich meine normale SIM löschen?
Your regular SIM may remain in the device, but mobile data and roaming should be disabled for it. For maximum protection, remove or fully disable the physical SIM during the trip.
Kann ich die eSIM erneut installieren?
Viele eSIM-Profile lassen sich nur einmal laden. Entferne das Profil deshalb nicht, solange du es noch benötigst.
